Colours
Invest Ontario’s colour palette is made up of a variety of swatches, but with a specific hierarchy and respective use cases.
Invest Ontario’s colour palette is divided into the following:
- Primary colour
- Accent colour
- Secondary colours
- Body copy colour
The hierarchy of colours ensures consistency throughout all collateral and materials, but also flexibility for specific graphics.
The Invest Ontario colour palette aligns with the Ministry’s international marketing brand colours which are AODA and WCAG-compliant.

Typography
Our brand typeface is the Lato font family. It should be used in all general communications, in print and digital collateral.
Lato is a free Google font, downloadable here: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Lato
The use of Lato aligns with the Ministry’s international marketing brand.
In digital applications where Lato is not available, it may be substituted with Arial. Digital applications may include: online, mobile, email, and presentations.
Additional typefaces may be used for marketing campaigns, with approval from Invest Ontario’s Communications and Marketing Department.
