TORONTO, Ontario, December 4, 2023 – Invest Ontario today announced its support for Kainos, a leading digital technology solutions provider, as the company embarks on a substantial expansion of its office in Toronto, Ontario to meet the growing demand for digital transformation across North America.
The UK-headquartered company aims to triple its Toronto headcount from 100 to more than 300 employees over the next three years with a new office space, further cementing the Toronto office’s role as a core hub of Kainos’ business in North America.
This strategic move reaffirms the strengths of Ontario’s thriving tech ecosystem and the opportunities it presents to technology companies worldwide, as industries seek to futureproof their operations with digital technologies ranging from artificial intelligence (AI), automation, cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), to cybersecurity.

In 2018, Kainos chose to launch its Canadian operations in Toronto, Ontario. Boasting an innovation corridor and one of the largest IT clusters in North America, Ontario is home to more than 22,000 ICT firms with a deep talent pool fuelled by over 65,100 new STEM graduates every year.
