Leadership team changes at Invest Ontario

TORONTO, ON — After more than three years leading Invest Ontario, Trevor Dauphinee will be leaving to explore new opportunities

Michael Fedchyshyn, an experienced member of the organization’s leadership team, will now serve as an interim CEO to ensure a smooth transition and to continue the good work of the organization while the Board conducts an executive search.

Since the creation of Invest Ontario, the organization has thrived, bringing billions of dollars of investment into the province. Trevor’s leadership has been crucial to the organization’s early success, and an enormous benefit to all Ontarians.

In fiscal year 2022 alone, ending on March 31, 2023, Invest Ontario secured $1.77 billion in investments, creating 2,297 new jobs and generating $279 million in tax revenue. For every $1 of provincial support, there has been $26 in private investment. Further, the close out of the 2023/24 fiscal year will add substantially to the amount of investment already brought to Ontario by the Agency.

Invest Ontario will continue to serve as a critical partner for businesses seeking strategic growth in the province.
