This is a big number, $445 million using ingredients sourced from Ontario producers and Ontario farmers. This expansion will create 500 new good-paying jobs.

Omar Zausa:
There is a new product produced for the first time outside of Europe. It's a tangible sign of the commitment of Ferrero to expand in North America.

Invest Ontario, since day one, is very collaborative. We know each other very well. They know what we need to grow.

Invest Ontario is actually a one-stop shop where they can come to us with all their requirements.

We are there to help them throughout their entire journey. We brainstorm with them, understood what their plans were. We help them with their project narrative. We help them develop a plan. From an innovation standpoint, the Ferrero's investment would mean deployment of amazing technology, which means internet of things, robotics and automation at their facility. All this ties up to high-quality jobs and high-quality products being produced in Brantford.

They're having an impact in the community, and it's a result of the work that we have done to encourage them to locate, expand and grow in Ontario.

Omar Zausa:
It's a family-owned company. Family is forever. And we approach also our investment, our commitment to the community, to the consumer, as a family. Having such a commitment of an investment is also a commitment that we will stay forever.
